GeoBuddy in your AI assistant

Add it to Claude

1. Open Settings → Connectors and choose “Add custom connector”.
2. Name it GeoBuddy and paste the server URL: https://geobuddy.co/mcp
3. No sign-in is needed. Then ask, for example: “Does AI recommend Serrurier Grand Lyon, a 24/7 locksmith in Lyon?”

Any assistant that supports remote MCP servers over HTTP can use the same URL.

Tools

• check_ai_visibility — Asks ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity real buyer questions for your category and city, including one in your customers' language, and reports which engines recommend you, who they name instead and which sites they rely on.
  Inputs: business name, what it sells (required); city, website, customer language (optional). Read-only.
• get_check_result — Reads back a stored check from its geobuddy.co/check/r/… link.
  Inputs: result id. Read-only.

Questions

Do I need an account?

No. The connector reads public facts about a business and needs no sign-in.

What does GeoBuddy receive?

Only the business details your assistant passes to the tool: name, what it sells, city, and optionally its website and customer language. Nothing about you or the rest of your conversation.

How long does a check take?

About a minute for a new check. The same business and question context is answered from the stored result for 7 days.

Is there a limit?

New checks from AI assistants are capped per day across all users to keep the service free. When the cap is reached the assistant will say so; you can always run a check at geobuddy.co/check.
